Tenaya graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Sustainability. She is currently the Water and Healthy Soils Fellow at the SVRCD in partnership with GrizzlyCorps, an AmeriCorps program run through the Center for Law, Energy & Environment at UC Berkeley. Tenaya was raised on a homestead in the eastern hills of San Diego and went on to work in the field of regenerative agriculture and conservation before coming to the RCD. On evenings and weekends, you can find her reading, painting, enjoying nature and climbing mountains.
